May 7, 2018

Happy Monday, friends! I’m so glad that you’re here! Since there are so many topical uses for essential oils, I thought it would be FUN to start a small series on how to DIY with essential oils. Today’s post (Part 1) will be dedicated to creating rollers. What do you need to know before you … More How to DIY with Essential Oils – Part 1: Rollers

A friend of mine posted yesterday that the Frozen 2 song “The Next Right Thing” is one of, if not the most important Disney songs ever written. With the outpouring of love, prayers, and generosity for the Sideris family right now, this really resonated with me. It’s an important and mature lesson to instill in children (and adults as well) that we may have little control over a situation, but we can take steps forward to do the next right thing. What are we to do when we don’t know what to do? Just do the next right thing. Thank you again to everyone that reached out with thoughts, prayers, and well wishes for the Sideris family. Thank you to everyone that shared their story. Thank you to everyone that will make their Christmas a little brighter by sending them something they need, and will bring them joy in this time of hardship. Thank you for doing the next right thing. Have a beautiful day everyone! ❤️
Happy Monday! I’m so excited to kick off our weeklong Christmas collaboration! Today I’ll be sharing with you my front porch! ⁣ ⁣ If you watched my stories on Friday you saw that I was making this task much harder than it needed to be. Ladies, the holiday season is busy and crazy enough! Let’s keep things simple and outsource where we can! In my case, buy the Drop and Decorate Planters from @thehomedepot and call it a day! No need to run around buying all the things to DIY! Unless you’re good at that and know what you’re doing! (I don’t!) Whose with me?! ⁣ ⁣ Wreaths: @target Hearth & Hand ⁣ Doormats: @target Hearth & Hand⁣ 🌱 Planters: @homedepot ⁣ Birch wood: @target Lanterns: @wegmans⁣ 🛷 Sled: Vintage

Strolled through the enchanted Peddler’s Village today and took the kids to Giggleberry Fair. Would love to go back again sans kids to shop the boutiques, enjoy some fine dining, and see the village lit up at night! What Christmas activities are you up to this weekend?!
Just catching up on the cosmetic reform testimonies and hearing in Washington D.C. yesterday. I’m in awe of the Beautycounter company, CEO @greggrenfrew, and SVP Lindsay Dahl @beautycounter.hill.nerd for demanding better beauty for all, and their mission to get safer products into the hands of everyone. ⁣ ⁣ Check out my stories for a quick highlight. You can also click on the link in my bio “Beautycounter in Washington” to watch the full recording and read the testimonies. ⁣ ⁣ To keep the momentum going, please text BETTERBEAUTY to 52886 to urge Congress to pass safer beauty laws 💙 ⁣ ⁣ If you’d like to start switching yours and your family’s personal care products to a cleaner, safer option, I’d love to help set you up with Beautycounter 💗
