How to DIY with Thieves – Part 1: Cleaning Solutions

Hi friends! After doing my Instagram Stories yesterday on how to create different cleaning solutions with the Thieves Household Cleaner, I thought it would be helpful to have it saved somewhere that you could refer back to.

Light Cleaning 

1 capful cleaner + 3 cups of water …OR… 1/2 capful cleaner + 1 1/2 cups of water

Applications: baseboards, blinds, dining table / chairs, mirrors, railings, walls, windows 

Glass + Mirrors

1 capful cleaner + 5 drops Citrus Fresh + 1 teaspoon white vinegar + 3 cups of water

Regular Cleaning

1 capful cleaner + 2 cups of water 

Applications: bathroom sink, countertops, doors and doorknobs, floors, kitchen sink, light switches, inside refrigerator and freezer, tabletops, toilets, toys, vents 

Heavy Cleaning 

1 capful cleaner + 1 cup of water 

Applications: bakeware, carpet stains*, microwave, oven, pans, pots, showers, stovetop, tile grout, tubs, upholstery*, window tracts

* Test a small section first!

Deep Cleaning Scrub 

Mix ingredients to form a thick paste. To use, apply mixture with a clean cloth or sponge and scrub surface thoroughly. Rinse clean.

Applications: showers, tile grout, toilets, tubs

Carpet Freshener

1 capful cleaner + 1 cup baking soda

Let mixture sit overnight until the liquid is absorbed. To use, sprinkle over carpet and vacuum thoroughly.  

Wood Floor Cleaner

Here are the links to the 8 oz. Spray Bottles (heavy cleaning) and 16 oz. Spray Bottles (light and regular cleaning)
